THE SERIES is an episodic half-hour adult animation series created and voiced by Brit Tobin (Peel), executive produced and voiced by Jeff Eastin (Patches).
​GARBAGE PEOPLE follows the absurd everyday adventures of Patches and Peel — a jaded plush bunny with an eye patch and a savage banana skin — in the dumpster town of Trash. It's classic primetime with a refreshingly 2020s twist, set in a world where discarded items have come to life to form their own society away from all the world’s stupid problems — isn’t that nice?
Nestled inside a dumpster on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, CA, is a smaller version of Ventura Boulevard — the town of Trash. It’s as familiar as any suburb of Los Angeles. The only difference is that the residents of this quaint town are everything that we throw away, and yeah, they have an attitude about it.

In Trash, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and every piece of junk has a story to tell. This is a safe place for outcasts, rebels, weirdos, and yes, especially conspiracy enthusiasts.
Putting the "fun" in dysfunctional
At the heart of Trash are Patches and Peel — a jaded plush bunny hiding out from the IRS, and an optimistic and naïve banana skin who’s always looking for creative ways to quell incessant boredom as a result of his rampant adhd.
The boys’ back-and-forth banter and inability to stay out of trouble drives the pace of each episode with Peel often acting as the catalyst.

GARBAGE PEOPLE features four series-regular characters. Patches and Peel’s raucous relationship is the central focus. Graffiti Steed is one of their primary neighborhood friends who serves as the comedy series’ comedic-relief. Additionally, Patches and Peel share an ally with Death, who makes an appearance roughly thrice per season. Read more about characters here.
